Upgrade Your RV: Creative Modifications and Tips

Interior RV Modification

Each time we travel in our Grand Design 2600RB, we come up with ways to make the rig more comfortable and put it “on the list” to do before next season.  Our most recent mod was taking out the divider between the recliners and putting in a storage unit at one end Here is the link for the one that fits like a glove! Narrow Dresser with 4 Drawers .   Few reasons for this; if you hadn’t noticed we are cuddlers, so modifying into a  reclining loveseat will work better for us and then there is the dog.  Annie will enjoy stretching out on the seats verses confined to one seat or the other.  The third reason is STORAGE!  You can never have too much storage in an RV.  We have done many modifications to this rig and at a later date will showcase all of them.

Along with the modifications we also have done numerous upgrades.  My favorite is the RV dinette table and shelf that was handcrafted by Matt Carruthers from a local company; Livin Roots Woodworks LLC.  Livin Roots specializes in functional art and as you can see from this YouTube interview, Matt is very passionate about his work.  We are grateful to have some of his art along for the ride!
